JH Grimes is a trans poet and writer. Their work appears or is forthcoming in new words {press}, Spires Magazine, REMAKE, and others. They are the recipient of a 2022 Academy of American Poets University Prize, the Norma Lowry Memorial Prize for Poetry, and the Roger Conant Hatch Prize for Lyric Poetry.
